Booty Heroes looks simple at first — you press a button and the fight plays itself — but the real game happens before the battle. This guide covers the basics every new captain should know.
How a fight actually works
Every battle in Booty Heroes runs on speed. Heroes act in order of their speed stat: on the first turn everyone lands a basic attack, which is reduced by the target's armor. On the second turn the surviving heroes unleash their special skills, and these ignore armor entirely.
Because of that two-turn rhythm, most fights end quickly and the team that fires its specials first usually wins. That is why speed buffers are so prized, and why crowd control like stuns and freezes can swing a fight even against a stronger roster.
Factions and classes
Booty Heroes has six factions and five classes, and each faction has an effectiveness advantage against others, so your damage numbers change depending on who you face. Building around faction synergy matters more in later stages and in PvP, where opponents vary wildly.
Classes decide the role: Knights and tanky Priestesses hold the front line, Mages and Gunslingers deal damage from behind, and Bandits trade survivability for speed. A standard formation puts two tough girls up front and the damage dealers behind them.
Who to build first
New players should not chase SSR banners immediately. The community consensus is to build SR and lower-rarity heroines first, because duplicates are easier to collect and promotions cost less. Thea, Chihe, Astoria, Anari, Oluen and Paula are all popular early investments.
Look for heroines with skills that hit all enemies at once, and keep an eye on speed: girls like Becca and Lola boost the team's initiative, while Astarte cuts the enemy's speed. A team of two healers or tanks, three damage dealers and a reviver is a solid late-game shell.
Which modes to play
The campaign is your main progression road, and it unlocks new features as you clear stages. The Passion Pit arena is worth one entry a day for the daily quest, and the Waterfall hands out generous rewards. Limited-time events on the home screen are usually the best source of exclusive heroines.
In Journey mode, aiming for around floor 14 each season lets you farm SR shards efficiently. Oblivion drops rare items but is not beginner-friendly, so leave it until your core team is promoted and geared.

Booty Heroes rewards consistency over spending. Log in for the daily quests, finish the newcomer event for Thea, and reinvest your resources into a focused team of six rather than spreading them thin. From there, the arena ranks and event leaderboards take care of themselves.
